Recording of Dan Fox's "Howling Wire"

Dan Fox mad a recorded of his giant wind harp "Howling Wire" at Brighton Festival. On this recording you can hear a high sci-fi-choir-like sound. This is produced by two 12 meter high nylon strung harps resonated by copper timpani drums. The bass tone is vibrating pallet strap amplified by galvanised ducting bass drums. All the sound is created by the wind blowing across the strings. The crunching sounds are people walking on the pebble beach in Hove.
